I'm Michael Lauzardo, better known as MALO, a freelance comic book artist, illustrator, and visual designer with over 20 years of creative experience.

Through Art of Malo, I create original artwork, sketch covers, commissioned illustrations, and sequential storytelling inspired by the worlds of comics, fantasy, science fiction, and pop culture. 

Over the years, I've worked with collectors, publishers, and fans across the comic industry while appearing at conventions throughout the country. Whether I'm drawing iconic heroes, developing original characters, or building new worlds through creator-owned projects like Tamakire (魂裂), my goal is always the same: create artwork that tells a story and leaves a lasting impression.

When I'm not at the drawing table, you'll find me connecting with fans at conventions, sharing my creative process online, and continuing to push my craft with every new project.
